Originals - Collage
This series of works are part of my Athena Series.
I started working on these collage during summer 2022 while I was an artist in residence at the wonderful Swatch Art Peace Hotel Residency in Shanghai China.
I use the shapes of the bark of platanus trees that I collected during that residency.
These pieces are about our vulnerability as human beings, and how fragile we are even though we work so hard at protecting ourselves from hurt.
