"SHE- Her Vision " Opening Review

The origin of this "Her Vision - International Female Artists Group Exhibition" is because Ms. He Yuhong, a curator living in France, contacted us a few years ago and sent her curatorial copy saying that she wanted to do an exhibition on the theme of feminism , ask us if we are interested.

My partner Zhang Shuang and I have always been concerned about the growth of women's body, mind and power. Coinciding with the International Women's Day, after reading Ms. He's copy, we decided to do this project and settled on the theme of "She's Vision" - presenting "her's world" from the perspective of "her". Looks, it's very interesting.

Since the establishment of Ola, we have supported dozens of art exhibitions and art residency projects, including young and old artists and art curators. For these art practitioners, Ola continues to report tolerance and respect. manner. In the past two years, the people and things we have experienced always remind me of the lightness of the original small gathering exhibition - those grand themes, those struggling screams, those expressing with strength, those who put on wounds to say to you "Come, look at my injury, this is the injustice of this world to me", those works and speeches that are expected to be recorded in history... are not as good as the relaxation brought by the small gathering. Scholar Xu Sheng wrote in the copy at the time: "This exhibition is like other small gatherings. It is not unique, nor does it have any special meaning, nor does it necessarily exist. In short... let's gather together." This kind of meaninglessness is not what the human heart is looking for and forgetting in the end.

This time, the group exhibition of her vision of international female artists includes female artists born from the 1950s to the 1990s. The creations of artists in each era have their own uniqueness. Even the ideas of curators in the 1960s and those of post-80s curators reflect the traces of the times. The 115 works brought by the 19 artists carefully selected by the curator have been interpreted by a professional. And what I want to say is that half a century has passed since you quietly watched this exhibition.

After we decided to do this exhibition, we looked for a venue as soon as possible: thanks to the recommendation of a senior collector, Mr. Li Lin from JNBY, we chose Tianmuli, where there is soil for art.

Due to the Chinese Spring Festival, it only took three weeks from the time we confirmed the venue and got the blank space on the 4th floor of Building 12 in Tianmuli to the opening of the exhibition. I am very grateful to our entire team for their efficiency and vitality. Pressure presents this exhibition. Of course, I would like to thank the famous curator Ms. He Yuhong! Thanks to all the friends in our team: Zhang Shuang, ZHOU Chloe, LDP, Duomu, Ma, Ma Liang, Tutu, Xinran, Congcong...... These young and fresh souls, let us see To the hope and vitality of the Hangzhou art market! Of course, I would like to thank all the invited artists (the names of the artists are listed at the end of the article, their professions give us a sense of ups and downs) and all those who silently provided material and spiritual support before and after the exhibition!
