3 weeks / 3 semaines
View of my studio on Open Studio day.
In exactly 3 weeks, I will be leaving for China to do my 2 months residency. Wow, 3 weeks is not a long time. In the meantime, I have been so busy with everything else that I did not even have a chance to thank everyone who came to my open studio on May 27th. It was great to see and chat with so many people, people I knew (friends, students, colleagues, ....) and new people I met for the first time.
Thank you so much for your presence, I was so excited that night that I did not even think about taking photos!
I also have been busy teaching my classes; such as my Drawing class at Université de Montréal, and a new class at The Fine Art Museum of Montreal (Glazing techniques in Acrylic). A new class is coning up this week end, about 3D with acrylic, where we will be exploring 3D possibilities while using Nikki de Saint-Phalle art as a reference.
I also was gone to New-Jersey for a couple of days to meet with my artists friends and colleagues during an inspiring 4 days where we gather and talk about art materials. This is always inspiring and energetic. The days are intense and filled with many informations and events, and I systematically think it went to fast and I know I could spend way more time with all these fantastic people.
Now I am back though, and I am starting list of things that need to be dealt with before and for my residency. The next 3 weeks are going to be intense and VERY busy.
